Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Parann CMS, a content management system operated by Portkey Technologies Pte Ltd, a company incorporated in Singapore ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using Parann, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Parann is part of the Metarium software ecosystem. These Terms apply specifically to the Parann CMS service.
Private Beta
Parann is currently in private beta. During the beta period:
- Access is granted at our sole discretion and may be revoked at any time.
- The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- Features may be added, modified, or removed without prior notice.
- We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or data preservation.
- We may reset, migrate, or modify data as needed for development purposes.
The Metarium Ecosystem
Parann operates within the Metarium modular software ecosystem:
- Parann CMS — Content management at parann.com, by Padimai Pte Ltd (Singapore), operated by Portkey Technologies Pte Ltd.
- Metarium AI (metarium.ai) — A substrate for AI agents that keeps self-hosted data. By Onemai Foundation (onemai.net). Visit metarium.ai for guided CMS installations.
- Mummai Chain — Public file registry at mummai.net. By Onemai Foundation (onemai.net). Supports file registry, hash registry, and custodianship changes. Built using the Metarium.net template by Metakovan.net.
As an end user, you access CMS services using a Substrate (SS58) address. The ecosystem offers modular infrastructure choices:
- CMS layer: Parann (hosted) or a private CMS instance
- Blockchain layer: Mummai (public) or a private blockchain
Different combinations offer different trade-offs between convenience, cost, and privacy. A private CMS on a private blockchain provides maximum privacy and independence but requires higher infrastructure investment.
Data Portability and Persistence
Your data is portable across infrastructure providers within the Metarium ecosystem. You may migrate between providers at any time.
The Mummai blockchain supports file and hash registries with the ability to change custodianship, enabling transfer of asset custody between parties.
Important: Information processed by any third-party infrastructure cannot be fully "unseen" by that provider. Data exposure is limited to the period of use, but the provider may retain awareness of data processed during that time. You are responsible for evaluating the privacy implications of your infrastructure choices. You should act accordingly when choosing or switching between infrastructure providers.
Account and Authentication
- You authenticate using a Substrate (SS58) cryptographic wallet address.
- You are solely responsible for the security of your private keys. We cannot recover lost private keys.
- You must not share your authentication tokens with unauthorized parties.
- Access roles (administrator, scribe) are managed through the CMS access control system.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on the rights of others.
- Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the access control mechanisms.
- Use the service to distribute malware, spam, or conduct phishing attacks.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service (except as permitted by law).
- Use the service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the service or interfere with other users.
- Exceed reasonable usage limits or engage in automated abuse of the API.
Intellectual Property
- You retain all ownership rights to content you upload to the CMS.
- By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and serve your content as necessary to provide the CMS service.
- Content registered on the Mummai blockchain is subject to the blockchain's rules regarding immutability and custodianship.
- The Parann software, documentation, branding, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Portkey Technologies Pte Ltd.
- The Metarium name and ecosystem branding are used with appropriate authorization.

- If you subscribe to our newsletter, you consent to receiving marketing and product update emails.
- We use a double opt-in process: you must confirm your subscription by clicking a link in a confirmation email.
- You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Your email and consent records are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the PDPA.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law:
- The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- Portkey Technologies Pte Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or SGD 100, whichever is greater.
- We are not liable for any loss of data, including content stored in the CMS or registered on blockchain networks.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Portkey Technologies Pte Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
Termination
- We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause, particularly during the beta period.
- Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases immediately.
- Content already registered on blockchain networks remains subject to the blockchain's immutability properties and cannot be removed by us.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
